Dominique received a B.S. in geology from Fort Lewis College and is close to finishing a M.S. focused in fluvial geomorphology from Utah State University. She uses her knowledge of river and sediment systems to work with local stakeholders to improve watershed systems. In her free time, Dominique can be found in the outdoors with her partner in crime Oscar, her corgi-mix.

Shirley has worked for the Ruby Valley Conservation District Board as their District Administrator since 1994. Shirley and her husband, Gene, live on a small acreage on the East Bench with their Haflinger horses, and two dogs. Shirley is a native Montanan and has lived in the state all her life and has been very active in local grazing, weed and water issues in Madison and Beaverhead County. Before working for the RVCD she worked in the oil business, law offices,a utility company and training field trial dogs.
